A Know-Your-Rights spiritual for immigrants in advance of the ICE crackdown

Somebody’s knocking at your door.
Somebody’s knocking at your door.

When ICE comes knocking
you don’t have to answer —
Somebody’s knocking at your door.

Silent — you have the right to be.
Silent — you have the right to be.

When ICE comes knocking
you don’t have to answer —
Somebody’s knocking at your door.

They need the paperwork in hand,
translated so you understand.

When ICE comes knocking
you don’t have to answer —
Somebody’s knocking at your door.

(And a thank you shout out to Marriott for refusing to provide detention facilities. I will be staying in a Marriott soon. And a thank you shout out to Dover NH Police and the Strafford County Sheriff’s Department for refusing in advance to aid ICE and having the ongoing policy of not checking immigration status during the normal course of policing.)
