Dianne Prichard has created a Community Prayer service for the eve of the inauguration at Our Lady of the Prairie Retreat Center, owned by the Sisters of Humility, south of Wheatland, Iowa, in the middle of farms. it was once a farm. The farmhouse houses retreats, overnight guests and an office and a library and an addition now has eight guest rooms, gathering space and kitchen. A new barn has been built to house the equipment needed to maintain the grounds, which include a labyrinth and walking trails. At the current time the programming includes ZOOM events.
This service had prayers and music but I am lifting and sharing Dianne’s original O Antiphons
O Antiphons for the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5)

O God of patience, come into this world of unreasonable expectations and keep us from judging what we do not understand.
O God of kindness, come into this world of debt and destitution and help our leaders to look charitably on the poor in body and spirit who depend upon their graciousness.
O God of kindness, come into this world of fear and take away our need to be the best, the first, the most.
O God of goodness, come into our world of evil

O God of self-control, guard our leaders from anger and ego and greed so that they may serve with justice for all.
O God of self-control, guard us from anger and ego and greed so that we may support our leaders in their best efforts.
